Search Terms
When a name, location, or other search term is entered into a third-party search box, that query is sent to the provider that operates the tool. Jefferson County Inmate Population does not keep its own separate log of those search terms. The provider's own privacy rules govern what it stores, how long it keeps it, and whether it links the query to an account or payment.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, we use the information in that message to read it, respond, and handle the issue raised. Those messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law, a valid legal order, or a necessary service provider that helps run the site.
